ABC is seeking a Sports Producer/Presenter to produce and present sports content for ABC News 24 and other output platforms.

Job Requirements:
•  Experience as a broadcast journalist including specialist experience in sports news.
•  Thorough knowledge of general news and Australian sports news.
•  Demonstrated ability to write and produce television news and sports updates
•  Demonstrated highly advanced presentation skills in live, pre recorded studio and field conditions.
•  Ability to line produce sport programs..
•  Knowledge and willingness to learn digital production techniques..
•  A creative approach and an interest in the future of news in a digital environment.
•  An understanding of and commitment to the ABC's aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.

Job Duties:
•  To write, edit, produce and present dynamic news material for News 24 and other outlets as required.
•  To ensure that news and specifically sports news content is immediate and accurate and that it is continuously updated for latest developments.
•  To line produce specialist sport programs as required.
•  To provide editorial guidance for other News24 staff.
•  Ensure content meets ABC editorial and technical standards.
•  To monitor developments in digital television and online news and suggest innovative ways of producing and presenting news content in on-demand bulletins and in other formats.
•  Actively promote the ABC values and apply all relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.
