ABC Splash is looking for a driven, passionate project manager to deliver a range of exciting digital projects. You are highly organised, understand the digital production landscape and are able to deliver world class projects on budget, on time. An outstanding communicator, you are able to liaise effortlessly with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and clients. Experience in digital education and learning is highly valued.
The Project Manager: External Projects will be key to managing and delivering projects that have been commissioned externally for ABC Splash.
Job Requirement:
• Tertiary qualification in digital media production, educational multimedia or related field is highly desirable, with extensive and significant relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated and significant experience in initiating and producing outstanding websites and digital projects. Experience with mobile and tablets desirable.
• Demonstrated project management experience to manage multiple complex digital projects in parallel from end to end. Training and experience in project management methodology such as Prince 2, PMBOK or Agile and advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and scope projects in consultation with business owners.
• Extensive experience and a proven track record in leading and directing creative and technical teams in a deadline-driven production environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated excellent ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• A demonstrated knowledge of / passion for digital education products.
• An understanding of and commitment to the ABC's aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety
Job Duties:
• Plan and project manage a number complex projects involving digital agencies, designers, IA/UX experts, developers and subject matter experts.
• Research, analyse and scope potential projects in consultation with business owners and key stakeholders.
• Provide project management documentation including scope of work, schedules, user requirements, functional specifications, test plans and other project documents as required.
• Undertake user testing of products in schools with teachers and students in collaboration with development agencies. Test products across platforms and provide test reports.
• Initiate, manage and co-ordinate development work by third party providers for ABC Splash projects as required. Manage ongoing relationships with third party providers.
• Coordinate relationships with internal stakeholders including technology team, production team, marketing team and senior management. Promote products to key audience groups. Coordinate relationships with content providers and subject matter experts.
• Manage and provide weekly report s on project budgets, progress and delivery.
• Liaise and co-ordinate work with the project partner, Project Director and Product Manager.
• Actively promote the ABC values and apply all relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.
