Job Requirement:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Television production.
• Demonstrated team/staff management experience.
• Strong financial management/analysis capabilities.
• Able to plan and manage resources to enable efficient, cost effective and timely delivery of staff so that production requirements are met.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with managers at all levels.
• Strong team leadership capabilities, able to work effectively to meet shifting operational time frames and production deadlines.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ABC Editorial policies, ABC HR processes and ABC administrative and financial procedures
• An understanding of and commitment to the ABC's aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant policies and guidelines including, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.
Job Duties:
• Support the strategic objectives of the National Manager TV Production through the day to day management and co-ordination of the NSW TV Production Pool including utilisation, allocation, performance management and learning and development.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and long term planning for the production of Television programs in NSW and ensure the best value for ABC funds.
• Provide high level budget forecasting, monitoring and financial analysis for the National Manager TV Production.
• Act as point of contact for all staff matters and make recommendation to ensure optimum utilisation of resources and development of staff.
• Oversee SAP rostering, administrative workflows and maintenance of staff records and data bases ,including work history, position numbers, contract details and performance management records.
• Keep abreast of HR policies and procedures and provide routine HR advice to staff as required
• Actively promote the ABC values and apply all relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.
