In this role you will provide high level administrative support to the Group Program Director, Radio and coordinate efficient workflow through the office.

Job Requirement:
•  Appropriate educational qualifications and proven high level administration and organisational ability including capacity to prioritise, effectively manage workflow and output with a demonstrated aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.
•  Demonstrated high level writing, grammar and research skills, including the ability to critically analyse information and draw sound conclusions.
•  Knowledge and experience with all software relevant to this role such as, but not limited to, PowerPoint, Excel, SAP HR, SAP Procurement and Microsoft office Outlook including calendar.
•  Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a time critical environment, exercising tact, discretion and independent judgement, at times with minimal supervision.
•  Confident and clear communicator with well-developed strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including proven ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at every level.
•  An understanding of and commitment to the ABC's aims, objectives and workplace values, together with relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.

Job Duties:
•  Provide high level administrative support to Group Program Director including:
•  manage the day to day operations of, and workflow through, Group Program Director's office;
•  critically appraise incoming proposals, enquiries, papers and correspondence, determine priorities, prepare responses and undertake necessary action as appropriate;
•  Develop and rigorously maintain systems for keeping office records;
•  manage and arrange appointments and meetings;
•  act as first point of contact in the office and deal to finality with matters not requiring the attention of Group Program Director.
•  Produce, collate and edit documents for Group Program Director such as PowerPoint and Keynote presentations, Board and Activity reports, Senate Estimates replies and Selection Committee reports.
•  Prepare meeting agendas and related correspondence, take minutes, prepare and distribute to relevant parties, follow up actions as required.
•  Carry out additional special research and projects as directed by Group Program Director as required.
•  Assist Group Program Director with all administrative duties relating to the ongoing Radio Commissioning process.
•  In consultation with the Business Management Unit, track expenses and prepare journals and budget forecasts for Group Program Director cost centres.
•  Reconcile staff cost, phone, Visa statements, travel reports and any other accounts for Group Program Director cost centers.
•  Create, maintain and update appropriate electronic databases, files and records related to Group Program Director portfolio.
•  Arrange travel, including accommodation bookings and Travel Allowance calculations ensuring that all travel policies are followed.
•  Actively promote the ABC values and apply all relevant policies and guidelines including Editorial Policies, Equity & Diversity and Work Health & Safety.
