Job Description:
An opportunity exists for a Test Lead to join the Computershare Technology Services' Communication Services team at the Port Melbourne office. The Test Lead is required to assume responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project.
Computershare provides an extensive suite of products and services and is a market leader in the Share Registry industry. In this newly created role you will be reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director to drive the growth nationally of Computershare's Investor Service Business. You will be required to seek and pursue new business opportunities within two primary sources; new listings i.e. Initial Public Offerings (IPO's) and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and acquisition of new clients. This is an exciting opportunity to build and capitalise on Computershare's existing established portfolio in a dynamic and fast paced industry.

Your client base will include various intermediary groups as well as dealing with C level clients to win competitive corporate actions and attracting and actively pursuing listed entities currently not serviced by Computershare. As Sales Director you will also be responsible for educating influencers and decision makers of key accounts of Computershare's products and services and maintaining strong relationships with a view to providing targeted services where there is a gap or need in client accounts.

You will also be responsible for driving a sales culture throughout the CIS business and ensure relevant individuals across the various CIS sites follow through on their opportunities in order to assist in the growth of the business.

This role will suit a proactive and ambitious senior Sales professional with an established and proven Business Development background. Due to the nature of the industry, the role has an exciting combination of short and longer sales and bid cycles. As a result, a proactive approach to maintaining continued and extensive knowledge of Computershare and its competitors services would yield successes from your ability to act quickly upon opportunities but also utilise the existing knowledge of state based Relationship Managers for upcoming bids.

The successful candidate will ideally be from a Financial Services background with an existing and established knowledge of financial markets with a proven background in selling financial services of over $100k. Candidates with knowledge of Initial Public Offerings and Mergers & Acquisitions and tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded. This role has a need for strong sales organisation skills, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and self-motivation.

Flexibility is required as there may be some national travel due to the nature of the role.
