Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a quality driven and dedicated Developer to join the Inbound Implementations team located in Carrington St, Sydney CBD.
The Implementations Team is responsible for client implementations of all Capturepoint solutions on all current and legacy versions of the product. They will also perform functions such as Change Requests and Migrations.
Implementation Developers will design, build and document the solutions based on the needs provided in the Implementation Requirements Specification.
We are seeking Developers who are strong communicators, who have a proven ability to manage their time in a deadline driven and fast paced environment. They will be required to focus on given tasks and follow set procedures in order to meet project requirements and provide quality outcomes As a result, the ability to estimate and escalate their jobs as required to the team leader will be amongst the key behaviours required for this role.
The typical work day for the Implementations Developer will include configuration and development of client Implementation programs, trouble shooting, BAU production and support and investigating bugs and finding solutions. This role more importantly is focusing translating business requirements and customising products to meet requirements of clients provided by the Implementation Consultant.
Job Requirements:
- Recent work experience applying Web Technologies (XML, Web Services, XSLT etc…)
- Recent work experience with SQL including SQL Server, PL/SQL, SSIS, SSRS
- Strong business communications skills applied within a corporate environment
- Experience using, Kofax (KC & KTM), VB6 Software Development, NET Software Development (C#)
- Australian Government recognised Tertiary qualification in IT
Job Duties:
- Perform Capturepoint client implementations in line with the provided specification, if there are issues, gaps or alternative interpretations. Then seeks advice from the Team Lead, or the assigned Analyst
- Co-ordinate with other groups (Infrastructure, GDS Support, etc…) as necessary to ensure that the complete and working solution is provided to the client
- Provide technical support to the GDS Support team for the diagnostics of production incidents, bugs and general ad-hoc support requests
- Stay up to date with new development in the core product, and provide feedback to the Implementations Team Lead as to the suitability of the product to meet the clients' requirements
- Complete timesheets accurately and in a timely fashion within accordance with guidance set for timesheet codes, and maintain assigned TFS work items ensuring sufficient information is recorded for future reference and estimations and progress figures are updated on a regular basis
