Job Requirements:

• 5 - 7 years in the food industry in a technical or operations role, solid food technology knowledge and experience
• Degree qualifications in a food sciences/technical discipline.
• Solid product development and project management experience with proven results
• Highly motivated and self-disciplines demonstrating ownership and initiative
• Thorough planning and organisation skills with systematic approach to work
• High level of attention to detail and process
• Demonstrated positive behaviors  in line with the Goodman Fielder culture

Job Duties:

• Manage the delivery of NPD projects against marketing briefs, while executing agreed development Stage-Gate processes.
• Meeting the action standards required for consumer acceptance, quality, regulatory requirements and manufacturing capability.
• Support productive improvement projects including Cost Optimisation and Competitor Benchmarking.
• Assist in strengthening of R&D capability by proactively identifying ingredients, processes and methodologies that can enhance technical delivery of innovation.
• Impart knowledge to the R&D team and the business to strengthen technical capability.
• Develop clear communication project timelines and key milestones highlighting and mitigating risks and requirements
• Monitor products, ingredients, and processing to help build the R&D innovation/technical capability platforms.
