Job Descrition:
The Senior Brand Manager is an integral member of the Family Brands Baking Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will make a strong contribution to a high performing team while focusing on Brand Development and Innovation within the Baking Category division. This role will not only be involved in the implementation of the strategic agenda, as well as designing and developing the framework for a range of new products.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Brand Management at FMCG companies.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects
- Skilled technical marketer – strong brand equity and research experience.
- Financially and commercially savvy
- Proficient PC skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Strong persuasive skills – individual must have ability to influence people over whom they do not have direct authority.
Job Duties:
- Development and implementation of the annual strategic plans for up 3 years.
- Integrate marketing communications plans across group, while working closely with agencies.
- Analyse new and existing market data and trends.
- Identify/implement new brands and product initiatives to drive incremental growth.
- Understanding of implications of NPD and other activity on overall portfolio profitability.
- Working cross functional teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business.
- Management of budget and DME spend.
- Allocation of brand resources (as agreed with Marketing Manager) to strategically critical and profitable brand activities.
- Communication and presentation of key brand initiatives to internal and external customers.
