An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Burleigh Heads Manufacturing site.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate;
- Limited Electrical Licence (desirable but not essential);
- Ability to tig weld, carry out minor fabrication work, lathe work etc;
- Ability to fault find and resolve root cause issues;
- Superb organisation skills combined with the ability and initiative to achieve results;
- Possess good interpersonal communications (Written and verbal);
- Demonstrate an understanding for safety, health and environment.
Job Duties:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will provide high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable prosecution levels and a high standard of engineering support.
- Assist in providing and promoting a safe workplace;
- Be able to work unsupervised in a small team environment;
- Participate in the repairs and preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment;
- Repair and install plant equipment;
- Assess and prioritise breakdown service requirements;
- Accurately complete paperwork in a timely manner;
- Assist with other duties to ensure the effective operation of the maintenance team.
