We are currently looking for a passionate and engaged individual to join us in leading, coordinating and controlling the manufacturing production at our Clayton site.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
  • At least 10 years proven manufacturing experience;
  • 5 – 6 years management experience;
  • Demonstrated track record of performance in a similar role in a challenging environment;
  • Demonstrated change management experience both in manufacturing projects and cultural change;
  • Superb interpersonal skills to overcome technical or relationship barriers and resistance to change;
  • Sound communication skill and an ability to lead a team;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a range of tasks and responsibilities;
  • Related industry experience (preferably within food/beverage/dairy industry);
  • Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, internal and external audit experience.


Job Duties:
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching  for the line managers/supervisors;
  • Increase and foster engagement across the site;
  • Initiate and implement a continuous improvement program to improve plant; efficiencies and overall operational performance through consistent frameworks across all areas of production;
  • Cultivate and drive a “visual management” approach to manufacturing improvements.
  • Support and further develop a newly recruited Shift Team Manager structure in the Manufacturing area.
  • Working closely with peers to identify and drive improvements
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams as required;
  • By being a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will contribute to the development of the site improvement plan;
  • Establish effective communication mechanisms with other functions and business teams;
  • Support, develop and drive the OH&S, Hygiene and Environmental programs for the manufacturing teams and specific improvement project teams;
  • Implement Quality, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures applicable to the position;
  • Drive and improve planning efficiency for the site.
