We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional to step into the strategic role of Maintenance Manager, reporting to the Site Operations Manager. Your primary role will be to ensure the electrical and mechanical components of the plant operate safely with minimal downtime and waste as well as developing and maintaining the national standard operating procedures, policies, practices for site maintenance to ensure Operational Reliability.
Job Requirements:
- Qualifications in Electrical, Engineer or Mechanical Degree/ Diploma or Trade, and/or have a relevant post trade qualifications
- Minimum 5+ Years experience within Maintenance Manager capacity
- Understand how to establish and implement equipment preventative maintenance programs
- Experience in development and control of budget and expenditure
- The ability to think quickly and make sound business decisions whilst managing challenging timelines and work under pressure
- Knowledge of OHS regulations and food safety practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and capability cross cross-functional teams
- The ability work independently and to positively influence key stakeholders
Job Duties:
- Management of all Electrical and Mechanical maintenance personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner;
- Development of a team with focus on plant performance both short & long term, developing framework implementing best practice strategies & procedures in line with Site and National Direction;
- Support and Development of Capital Project Plans, and Site Maintenance strategic plan
- Participate in cross-functional project teams as required;
- Be a key member in the continuous improvement of plant reliability, availability and maintenance systems in general.
- Liaison with contractors and suppliers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services
- Conduct root cause failure analysis, investigations and defect elimination projects
