Located at the Yarraville manufacturing facility, we are seeking a forward thinking Shift Production Supervisor to supervise all production activities on the site within set standards to achieve SH&E, OEE, production output, quality and MRPII targets.
Job Requirements:
• Experience in a 24 hour 7 day a week continuous shift manufacturing environment
• A well-developed problem solving acumen
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership skills
• Ability to demonstrate improvement in key areas.
• As a Shift Supervisor you will operate within a team but also have the capability of working alone.
• You must have good interpersonal skills,
• Must be capable of making decisions under pressure
• Demonstrate the ability to be customer focused.
Job Duties:
• Leading Safety, Health and Environment programs on the shop floor to improve the plant's safety performanc
• Improving operational performance (e.g. quality, scrap and output)
• Leading cultural change in the factory, including coaching and mentoring direct reports
• Problem solving and root cause analysis
• Implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principle
• Optimising the use of labour and materials on site
• Coordinating activities with other areas of the business - Marketing, Sales, Customer Service & Warehousing

The Shift Supervisor role operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week therefore you must be capable of doing shift work.
