An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager to join our iconic Australian business, based in Wetherill Park, Sydney. This role requires a tenacious and hardworking individual who enjoys turning opportunities into results by being able to understand your clients' needs & drivers, whilst delivering key insights and product solutions to enable their success. You will possess a solid professional network within the NSW residential construction market. This role will specifically target Builders and Plasterboard contractors within the low rise multi residential metro construction market, generating primary demand for our innovative & differentiated external lightweight systems. You will have a strong sense of urgency and an ability to influence multiple stakeholders within your client's organisation.
We are looking for a strategic Business Development superstar who must have a positive "can do" attitude.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
• Experience selling within the residential building & construction industry
• Ability to establish and commit to a plan to achieve business development objectives;
• Adept at marshalling resources to achieve sales and organisational goals;
• Current low rise multi residential building contacts;
• A tenacious sales approach, solution & relationship focused; and
• High level of resilience for cold calling building sites across Sydney
