The main objective of the role is to manage existing sponsors across all Fairfax food and wine events including Good Food Month in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra, NSW Food and Wine Festival and SMH Growers' Market. The Sponsorship Servicing Manager will work closely with the Head of Sponsorship and Sponsorship Sales Managers to develop strategies to maximise and retain sponsorship investment year on year as well as manage and coordinate sponsors' fulfilment of all benefits and obligations.

Job Requirements:
•  University educated in marketing, sales, business or event management
•  Minimum 3 year experience managing event sponsorship
•  Proven creative thinker and problem solver
•  Advanced PowerPoint and Excel software skills
•  Exceptional time management skills

Job Duties:
•  Work on creative solutions for the sponsor to activate the event sponsorship in a unique way that reflects their brand and the event, always ensuring the integrity of the event and the audience is kept.
•  Proactively identify and pursue revenue generating opportunities both within your client/agency portfolio and companies /agencies who are presently not currently Fairfax Events sponsors
•  Through effective management and a proactive approach, sponsorship retention and renewal are the responsibility of the Sponsorship Servicing Manager
•  Prepare sponsorship strategy in consultation with Fairfax Events operations and marketing teams, working closely with the sponsors and their agencies to deliver all activation and benefits in a timely and appropriate manner for the event and sponsorship level.
•  Appropriately timed reporting, research, proposals to allow for negotiation moving into new agreement. Or alert raised if there is no interest in renewing so a replacement can be found.
•  Create Working Progress documents to manage sponsor benefits and deliverables, including detailed time line.
•  Submit regular reports on business related selling and marketing activities
•  Attend  weekly meetings to correlate sponsorship activities with the rest of the Events team
•  Attend weekly meetings with each sponsor to ensure all benefits are being fulfilled and any opportunities are being actioned
•  Analyse the cost and effectiveness of sponsorship benefits / activation ideas within the event
•  Administrative support including contracts, invoices
