Job Description:
The S&O Programme team are responsible for delivering strategic business technology based solutions that align with BFS objectives.  The Programme Management area is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA) to work alongside its group of Senior BAs in a large workflow systems implementation. This role will report to the S&O Programme Manager and be responsible for undertaking analysis on a variety of projects including  but not limited to Pega deployments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Sales, Service Centre and Operations Program Management Team.  This role will offer the successful applicant the opportunity to drive delivery outcomes on a variety of projects within the Program. It will also offer the applicant the ability demonstrate their commitment to high standards and their ability to contribute to the overall success of Macquarie's services and products

Job Requirements:
Core competencies:
•    A thorough  understanding of business processes, procedures and systems in a change delivery environment
•    Ability to elicit and gather requirements using a range of methods including one-on-one discussions, workshops, review of feedback
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders of varying levels, including the ability to present information in ways appropriate to the audience
•    Effective time management and planning skills which allow you to identify task dependencies/ critical paths and determine appropriate milestones
•    Solid  analytical, creativity and problem solving ability
•    Proven collaboration skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
•    Self motivated with a high level of accountability and the ability to drive successful outcomes
•    Thorough understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across different methodologies

•    Strong customer focus and demonstrates a service-oriented culture
•    Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement within the department and taking ownership of actions
•    Experience in the development of detailed documentation of business requirements, process modelling and business cases
•    Ability to analyse and undertake assessment of complex changes and  track business requirements
•    Understanding of change management processes
•    Negotiation and influencing skills utilising a consultative approach
•    Self starter, is capable of adjusting behaviour in different scenarios and is capable of managing own time
•    Ability to multi task and prioritise work to meet timeframes
•    Training and/ or mentoring in a project environment

Qualifications and Experience:

•    Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst within financial services
•    End-to-end project experience working on Pega or other workflow systems implementation
•    Thorough knowledge of systems development, testing principles, project methodologies and practices
•    Experience conducting workshops for requirements gathering including working with vendors and customers
•    Experience working with technical experts as well as business stakeholders
•    Working knowledge of Use Case methods
•    Top Team requirement management tool desirable
•    IIBA accreditation is desirable.

Job Duties:
   
•    Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to facilitate and engage in stakeholder workshops & meetings
•    Work with business stakeholders and Project Managers to define and deliver business solutions.
•    Understand, interpret and document project scope, objectives, benefits and risks
•    Elicit, define, analyze and clearly document business processes,  business and functional requirements
•    Identify, analyse, manage and escalate issues and risks
