The Compliance Division within Macquarie's Risk Management Group provides compliance support and advice to Macquarie's operating businesses. Compliance staff are aligned with Macquarie's operating businesses, assisting those businesses globally to manage their compliance risks. The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for assessing and monitoring risks across Macquarie. This includes market and liquidity risk, credit risk, compliance risk and operational risk. RMG personnel liaise closely with all operating areas to ensure risks are understood and properly managed.

Job Description:
With the growth of the bank and changing regulatory obligations both domestically and offshore, the RMG Compliance systems and processes require enhancement. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to work with the Global AML Compliance team to complete the rollout of a number of key regulatory projects and to develop the BAU process and handover of these processes into the relevant business teams.

Job Requirements:

•    2-3 years experience gained in financial services, in an Operational, Compliance or Technology team.
•    Experience maintaining systems, drafting business requirements or managing vendors.
•    Tertiary qualifications in systems or business is highly regarded, but not mandatory
•    An understanding of AML & Sanctions regulations for financial institutions in one or more jurisdictions is highly regarded, but not mandatory
•    Ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality
•    Keen attention to detail as well as an ability to view the bigger picture
•    Sound written and verbal communication skills to liaise with people across the Bank
•    Strong commitment to continuous improvement
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties:

•    Provide administrative and some technical support for existing AML systems. Including managing the settings and input files and managing changes associated with reviews.
•    Help perform testing for system enhancements across all AML Compliance systems.
•    Perform User Access Reviews for AML systems
•    Manage AML Compliance SharePoint site and Macnet sites which contain all key AML policies, guidance notes and other material. Functions would include uploading, versioning and managing access requests.
•    Assist with performing reviews of and documenting changes and rationale to thresholds, settings, white-lists or external lists of key AML systems. Eg. Screening tool, Transaction monitoring.
•    Provide administrative and some technical support for AML projects that are in delivery phase.
•    Managing requests for data or other information from AML systems to satisfy internal or regulatory audits.
•    Providing administrational assistance with the licences, master servicing agreements and the usage of AML systems and the vendor relationships.
•    Assist the Global AML Compliance team to develop processes and systems to support bank-wide compliance monitoring and administrative procedures, including process mapping and drafting business procedures.
•    Developing and drafting system requirements for enhancements to existing systems or system replacements.
