The primary purpose of COG is to support and enhance the value of Macquarie through the creation of an efficient, scalable operating model. This is evident across the activities of each of the divisions which comprises of Business Improvement and Strategy Division (BIS), Business Services Division (BSD), COG Business Management, Human Resources Division (HR), Market Operations and Technology.
We are seeking a Technical Analyst who is interested in working in a busy HR aligned technology team across a broad range of applications. This role would suit someone that is keen to be involved across multiple different projects including software upgrades, business driven enhancements as well as trouble shooting and support across our BI and DWH applications.
Job Requirements:
• Organised and motivated
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs, MS Project and Sharepoint
• Understanding of project delivery methodology, tools and practices
• Experience in financial tracking and reporting
• Excellent communicator and people skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills are required with the ability to accurately document discussions and record relevant action items
• Knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle methodology
• Experience creating project plans
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment while demonstrating flexibility to adjust to changing work priorities
Job Duties:
• Produces consolidated project reporting for the management team including project performance against key metrics, highlighting areas for improvement
• Maintains and improves the project management methodology/SDLC to support better project management delivery
• Establishes standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including Issue, Risk, Change and Information Management.
• Manages the Project / Document Library and Lessons Learned database.
• Supports delivery managers and technical project managers in tracking and monitoring projects
• Reviews project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.
• Manages the support and provision of project tools and equipment.
• Assist with contract management and SLA reporting
• Assist with resource & financial tracking across the projects portfolio ensuring resource and financial forecasts are kept up to date
• Collaborates well with the broader business and IT teams (e.g. Central PMO, business project teams, Business Management) to ensure project reporting is reconciled and kept up to date.
