Process Engineer

FIFO 8/6 Roster ex Perth to Christmas Creek

Reporting to the Superintendent Process Plant, this role is responsible for monitoring the performance of the Ore Processing Plant and sample laboratory, thereby maintaining and improving process efficiencies, in line with our business plan. In addition, you will provide technical support for the OPF with regards to grade control/,management and tails management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Produce and maintain routine summary reports/data on plant throughput and production
• Produce reports on specific plant performance as required
• Liaise between ROM, Lab, OPF and Stockyard to ensure continued production
• Oversee metallurgical aspects of lab production and procedures, to supervise staff to ensure safe and accurate work
• Monitor tailings dams, ensuring compliance with the Tailings Management Manual
• Ensure metallurgical accounting of Process Units is maintained to a high level of accuracy

Qualifications and skills required:
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Process Engineering, Metallurgy or related discipline
• Relevant Process Engineering experience gained site based production environment
• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• High level of proficiency with MS Office in particularly Excel
• Strong process plant control logic and control sequencing knowledge
• Metallurgical accounting requirements and mineral processing experience
• Self-motivated and team orientated
