• Experience in maintenance management, design engineering, maintenance/project execution and process, services and materials handling equipment.
• You must be results driven
• Strong maintenance vision together with excellent team and organisation leadership skills.
• Mechanical or relevant Engineering qualifications will be highly regarded.
Job duties;
• Developing and executing a mechanical maintenance schedule
• Ensuring code compliance of mechanical equipment and safety systems
• Identifying deficiencies in mechanical equipment and initiating prioritised maintenance and capital improvement projects
• Ensuring every maintenance activity has an associated asset strategy document, clearly stating operational context and process critical variables definition, replacement/refurbishment criteria and work quality or outcome specification Mechanical work estimating, budgeting and cost management
• Actively driving and implementing BlueScope manufacturing maintenance processes
• Driving standards of detailed planning Learning and implementing BlueScope Manufacturing and Asset Management leading practices
• Providing active leadership, participating and managing BlueScope safety systems
• Actively driving the technical coaching and development of asset team members
