We currently have an opportunity for a Gas Pressure Control Department Manager to join our Gas business based in Laverton. The Gas Pressure Control Department Manager is responsible for the management of the system operations/pressure control maintenance program and personnel while attending to unplanned maintenance duties during peak periods. The primary objective of the role is to manage field personnel and deliver a maintenance program while attending necessary unplanned repairs to the network as required. The role will see the manager report to the Technical Manager, with an expectation that the applicants fitting skills will be suitable for emergency unplanned maintenance supervision on gas steel pipelines, regulators and hot water bath heaters.    

The ideal candidate will have in-depth field experience within gas, oil or water pipeline particularly in gas pressure reduction stations. They will have demonstrated capability in first response / on-call breakdown maintenance for pipelines / pressure regulation systems and will have a fitter of engineering qualification. They will also have supervision of management experience.
