A position exists for an experienced graphic designer to join the New Media & Client Services division of The Newcastle Herald.

Job Requirement:
• You must possess excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite 5 including Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver.
• Previous experience working in the media industry and pre-press file preparation would also be highly regarded.
• An independent self-starter who works well as part of a team.
• Highly organised person with the ability to follow a brief whilst having a flexible approach and the ability to work creatively to tight deadlines. In exchange for your talents.


Job Duties:
• Interpret and conceptualise information to produce modern and innovative designs for both print and digital media.
• You will be responsible for creating artwork for printed and digital advertising, magazine layouts, preparing presentation material and offering creative advertising solutions to our clients.
