DSG are going through an exciting period and as a result we have an opportunity for a Retail Area Manager to join our team and manage our retail stores in the Victoria Outer Eastern region covering Rowville to Sale

Job Requirements:
• Previous multi-site retail management experience highly regarded
• Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to lead a team and achieve results
• Demonstrated ability to achieve KPI’s and make appropriate business decisions
• Relevant qualifications, although not essential
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships

Job Description:
The role of Area Manager is integral to our business, you will be managing and maximising the profitability of approximately 12 stores within your area and working closely with your team in driving a customer focused culture

Job Duties: (Reporting to the General Manager)
• Delivering and maximising sales activities across 12 stores to achieve store profitability
• Managing all budget parameters including sales, wage spending and productivity and working closely with the store management team in recommending opportunities to achieve budgeted sales
• Communicating and creating a customer focused culture within the stores
• Developing a high performing team and being involved with all aspects of recruiting, coaching, identifying and recommending high performers to our DSG succession planning process
• Driving all operational standards, striving for best practice in: inventory management, OH&S and retail policies and procedures
