Job Description:
A permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst has become available within the Outbound Systems team. The Outbound Systems team supports software solutions provided to the global CCS Business. This includes developing and maintaining a number of products such as Aardvark (CCS' production job tracking and management system), document composition technologies (BGR, Publisher online) and Broadcast Services.

Based in our global head office in Abbotsford, this Senior Test Analyst role will focus on maintaining and improving the quality of solutions produced and maintained by the Outbound Systems team. The successful candidate will do this by planning and executing system tests, system integration testing and if needed user acceptance testing.

Job Requirements:

•     Strong experience as a Senior Tester working within a delivery team environment
•     Well experienced in the full SDLC including Agile development practices
•     Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including international clients
•     Prove ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with minimal supervision
•     Experience with test automation would be ideal as would be experience with TFS, MTM, Gherkin and BDD
•     Web experience would be ideal
•     Able to cope with pressure, prioritise workload and meet agreed timetables
•     Lateral thinker, with a broad outlook, solution oriented
•     Attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously
•     Monitors quality levels with a strong quality focus
•     Excellent written and verbal communication, managing meetings and presentations

Preferred Selection Criteria:

•     Experience working in a strict Agile environment preferred

Job Duties:   

•     Creating and maintaining test plans, data and cases based on specification and design documentation
•     Executing test cases
•     Recording test results
•     Identification and management of defects
•     Test estimation
•     Demonstrate application of testing techniques on complex requirements
•     Creates and maintains traceability matrix
•     Demonstrate knowledge and delivery of different test phases including system, integration and user acceptance testing
•     Facilitate peer reviews
•     Identifies risks and issues
•     Working with Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects to understand new functionality that is being delivered for testing
•     Providing mentoring to less experienced members of staff
•     Report on the progress of testing activities and status of defects
