Fairfax Media is looking for talented editorial trainees to join the newsrooms of The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian Financial Review - part of the Australian Publishing Media division.
The traineeship program runs for 12 months and offers a supported learning environment focused on developing world-class journalists.

Job Requirements:
• We're seeking people who are highly motivated, tertiary qualified and committed to a career in journalism.
• You must be a self-starter, well organised and capable of generating original ideas for reports across print and digital platforms, while meeting daily deadlines for breaking news.
• You must be able to create a team environment and culture for people who are driven to deliver great journalism.
• We're looking for positive individuals who are full of energy and ideas and who are enthusiastic about the opportunity to be involved in world class newsrooms.

Job Duties:
• Review - part of the Australian Publishing Media division.
• Developing world-class journalists.
